NORTH HILLS, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's golf team opened its 2013-14 season with a convincing 348-389 victory over Widener University Wednesday afternoon. Junior
Colin Pippert (Lansdale, Pa.) carded the low round of the day with a 10-over par 81 to lead the Knights to the win.
Sophomore
Randall Smedley (Logan Township, Pa.) shot a 16-over par 87, while sophomores
Tate Olson (Clifton, N.J.) and
Bobby Santiago (Tabernacle, N.J.) both shot a 19-over par round of 90.
Senior Lee Thomas (Haddon Heights, N.J.) led the Pride by carding a 16-over par 87, while junior Nick Prodzenko (Morristown, N.J.) shot a 23-over par 94. Junior Jared Hager (Bloomsbury, N.J.) shot a 100, while sophomore Connor Valen (Lititz, Pa.) shot a 109.
The Knights will next compete at the Ursinus Invitational September 24 at Raven's Claw Golf Club in Pottstown.
