Box Score SCRANTON, Pa. – The Arcadia University field hockey team dropped a 1-0 non-conference contest at the University of Scranton Saturday, snapping the Knights' four-match winning streak. The Royals improved to 7-0 with the win, while Arcadia fell to 5-2 with the loss.
Sophomore forward Alyssa Whitman (Bethlehem, Pa.) scored the only goal of the match 10:44 into the second half, tapping the ball in during a scramble in front of the cage, and Scranton's defense didn't allow a shot on goal as junior goalkeeper Krista Mundy (North Caldwell, N.J.) earned the win in goal.

Brittany Hodson (Highesville, Md.) had four saves for the Knights as her record fell to 5-2, while junior back
Morgan Paese (Harrisburg, Pa.) added a defensive save.
The Royals outshot Arcadia 16-4 in the match and had an 11-5 advantage in penalty corners.
The Knights will return to action Tuesday when they host a non-conference match against Eastern University at 7 p.m. at Easton Field.
