GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's swimming team dropped a pair of dual meet decisions at Messiah College Saturday afternoon, falling to the host Falcons 136-44 and King's College 111-58. The Knights are now 3-7 in dual meets this season.
Sophomore Timothy Graham (Teaneck, N.J.) won the 100 butterfly with a time of 55.94 seconds and was the runner-up in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:36.50. He later placed third in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:06.26.
Sophomore Will Nolter (Philadelphia, Pa.) took third in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 12:07.12 and went on to finish fifth in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:44.53. Classmate Collin Andrew (Westmont, N.J.) placed third in the 100 freestyle with a time of 54.83 seconds and finished sixth in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:03.60.
Sophomores Jonah McMasters (Fontana, Calif.) and Jake Lindenau (Maywood, N.J.) finished fourth and fifth in the 50 freestyle with respective times of 24.71 seconds and 25.35 seconds. The 400 freestyle relay team of Andrew, Lindenau, McMasters and Nolter placed second with a time of 3:45.25 to cap the day.
Arcadia will next host its final dual meet of the 2013-14 season January 18 against Lycoming College at 1 p.m. at Lennox Pool.
