GLENSIDE, Pa. – Junior forward
Tess Brzezynski scored one goal and assisted on another as the Arcadia University field hockey team recorded a 4-0 Commonwealth Conference victory over visiting Albright College Saturday at Easton Field. The Knights improved to 8-5 overall and 2-1 in Commonwealth Conference play with the win, while the Lions fell to 1-13 overall and 1-2 in conference play with the loss.

Debbie Wolfe's team-leading sixth goal of the season in the 29
th-minute to make the score 2-0 in favor of the Knights. Brzezynski closed the scoring in the 33
rd-minute by connecting off a corner pass from senior back
Katrina Dull.
The Knights also got goals from junior forward
Rachel Longenecker in the fifth-minute off of a shot into the right corner of the cage, and from sophomore forward
Erin Misner, who deflected a shot from senior midfielder
Morgan Paese in the 32
nd-minute. Sophomore goalkeeper
Brittany Hodson improved to 2-2 with the win while recording her first shutout of the season without facing a shot on goal.
Lions' senior goalkeeper Gabby Frake fell to 1-13 on the season, making three saves in a losing effort.
Arcadia had a 16-3 advantage in shots, and a 15-5 advantage in penalty corners.
The Knights return to action Tuesday when they host DeSales University for a 7 p.m. non-conference match at Easton Field.
