TELFORD, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's golf team opened the 2014-15 season with a tri-meet at Delaware Valley College with Eastern University Sunday at the par-72 Indian Valley Country Club. The Knights dropped a 434-483 decision to the Host Aggies, and fell to the Eagles 367-483.
Freshman
Lauren Potcher led Arcadia with a 107 in her collegiate debut, while senior
Lauren Robison was second on the team with a 116. Senior
Kirsten Oliva and sophomore
Samantha Quigley carded rounds of 127 and 133, respectively.
The low round of the day was turned in by Eastern junior Kaleigh Boreman, who shot a 10-over par 82, which was three strokes better than the round of 85 turned in by Eastern sophomore Bianca Scimali. Freshman Elise Dickie shot a 93 to lead Del Val.
The Knights will next travel to Wilkes University October 12 for an 11 a.m. match at Wilkes-Barre Golf Club.
