Complete ResultsREADING, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's swimming team dropped a 144-118 dual meet at Middle Atlantic Conference rival Albright College Thursday night, dropping the Knights record to 2-2 for the season. The Lion improved to 3-1-1 with the win.
Junior
Timothy Graham won the 100 and 200 butterfly with respective times of 54.97 seconds and 2:01.84, and was the runner-up in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:23.80. Junior
Will Nolter came in third in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 11:36.63.
Sophomore
Eric Lam won the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.25 seconds recorded the win in the 400 IM with a time of 4:18.84. He also placed second in the 200 backstroke in 2:01.26. Classmate
Matthew Morano won the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.67 seconds and later touched the wall in 5:11.32 to win the 500 freestyle. He was the runner-up in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:49.93.
Freshman
Chris Nicolescu was the runner-up in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.06 and came in third in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:31.56. Classmate
Jacob Schellinger was the runner-up in the 50 freestyle with a time o f23.08 seconds, edging out classmate Mark Tielman who came in third in 23.60 seconds.
The 400 medley relay team of Lam, Nicolescu, Ganguzza and Schellinger placed second with a time of 3:46.28. The 800 relay team of Morano, senior
David Battistelli, Schellinger and Graham came in second with a time of 7:36.90.
Arcadia will next host a double dual meet Saturday against Ocean County College and Wilkes University Saturday starting at 1 p.m. at Lenox Pool.
