GLENSIDE, Pa.- The Arcadia University women's basketball team defeated the Penn St.-Brandywine Lions Tuesday night to improve to 3-2 on the season. The Lions fell to 2-2 with the loss.

The Knights were led by junior forward
Addy Crenny, who had 16 points and a game-high 15 rebounds to go with two blocks, and senior guard/forward
Megan Fox, who fell just shy of a triple-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds and a game-high eight assists. Junior guard
Maureen Fiocca had a game-high 18 points with six assists, and junior forward
Valerie DiMuro rounded out Arcadia's double-digit scores by adding 14 points.

Penn State Brandywine was led by junior forward Lauren Munro's 14 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Sophomore guard Stacey McArthur had 10 points and two assists, while junior guard Jilly Gledhill added eight points off the bench.

The Knights started the game on an eight-point run with Fox scoring six before Lions' junior guard Cashae Hinton hit two free throws to get Brandywine on the board. Arcadia then went on a 31-14 run to end the first half and give the Knights a 41-21 lead.

Arcadia opened the second half by scoring 12 of the first 16 points to open a game-high 28 point lead at 53-25. The Knight's would cruise the rest of the way to a 26 point win.

Arcadia shot 48 percent (35-73) from the field, while the Lions shot just 30 percent (21-70). The Knights out-rebounded Brandywine 60-31, had a 50-26 advantage in the paint, and led 17-9 in second-chance points.
