Dawn Faranetta (Randolph, N.J.) scored three goals and assisted on two others as the Arcadia University women's lacrosse team defeated visiting Albright College 10-6 Thursday afternoon in a non-conference contest. The Knights improved to 4-0 with the victory, while the Lions fell to 1-2.

Erin Misner (Westhampton, N.J.) also had a three-goal game for Arcadia, raising her team-leading total to 16 for the season. Junior midfielder

Haylee Molloy (Holtsville, N.Y.) added two goals each. Sophomore goalie
Jordyn Dunacusky (Conshohocken, Pa.) tallied 13 saves to earn the decision in net, improving her record to 4-0 for the season.
Sophomore attack Erin Farrell (Endicott, N.Y.) and sophomore midfielder Amanda Smith (Barto, Pa.) scored two goals each for Albright, while Meghan Wilson and freshman midfielder Mariah Cullen (East Islip, N.Y.) had one goal apiece. Sophomore goalie Emily Hutson (Churchville, Pa.) recorded six saves as her record fell to 1-2 this season.
The Knights never trailed in the game, scoring the first three goals of the contest in a 1:59 span that put them ahead 3-0 just over nine minutes in. Two of those goals came from Misner, the other from Faranetta.
The Lions then called a timeout to get reorganized and Smith scored less than a minute later to get Albright on the board. Feffer answered with back-to-back goals for Arcadia, giving it a 5-1 lead with 11:08 left in the first half.
The Knights were up 7-3 at halftime before goals from Cullen and Wilson found the back of the next to open the second half, cutting the Lions deficit to 7-5 five and a half minutes into the frame.
The game went scoreless for the next 13 minutes before Molloy scored off a feed from senior attack
Jenna Crothers (Patchogue, N.Y.) with 11:27 to go, and Faranetta followed with her third tally of the game to put the Knights ahead 9-5 with 7:45 on the clock.
Farrel made it a three-goal game with 3:17 remaining, but Arcadia controlled possession for nearly all of the final four minutes before Misner capped the scoring with five seconds to go for the 10-6 final.
Albright outshot Arcadia 26-21 in the game and won 13-of-18 draw controls in the contest, while the Knigths had a 25-16 advantage in ground balls.
Arcadia will look to extend its winning streak to five games when it travels to Penn State-Abington March 14 to start a four-game road trip. The game will get under way at noon.
