ROSEMONT, Pa. – Freshman Brionna Cox hit .727 with nine kills and just one error on 11 attack attempts to help lead the Arcadia University women's volleyball team to a 3-0 non-conference victory at Rosemont College Thursday night, extending the Knights' winning streak to three matches. Arcadia improved to 6-8 for the season with the win, while the host Ravens fell to 1-11 with the loss.
 
The Knights led 24-17 in the first game before a late Rosemont run closed the gap to a 25-21 final, and then used a five-point run to close out the second game with a 25-19 win. The Ravens appeared to be on their way to forcing a fourth game after going up 23-19 in the third, but Arcadia came storming back to pull out a 26-24 win to complete the sweep.
 
Senior Christina Karnavas also had a strong offensive performance, hitting .462 with seven kills and one error on 13 attempts to go with seven digs, while freshman Elizabeth Joseph totaled a team-best 10 kills. Sophomore Colleen Stengel tallied 21 assists with three kills and five digs, while junior Alexia Bell had 18 assists and nine digs.
 
Morgan Rollins hit .367 with a match-high 14 kills and three errors on 30 attempts to lead the Ravens, while Leilani Carter added seven kills with eight digs. Sabrina Heggan had 19 assists.
 
The Knights will be back in action Saturday when they take on Delaware Valley University and host King's College at the MAC Crossover.
