Box Score SCRANTON, Pa. - The Arcadia University field hockey team traveled to Scranton to take on the unbeaten Royals on Saturday afternoon, falling 1-0 to the hosts on a tip in goal in the first half.Â

Brittany Hodson saw her first shot, she answered with a save.The game's lone goal came rougly nine minutes later on a tip in on a ball that was played from the top of the circle at the 21:32 mark. '
The second half saw more of a possession battle as the two teams combined for just five total shots. In total, just six shots made it to target on the afternoon with four coming from Scranton and two from Arcadia. The Scarlet and Grey kept pressure on the hosts as they drew a half dozen penalty corners, compared to just two for the Royals.Â
Arcadia opens a four game homestand on Tuesday, when the Griffins of Gwynedd Mercy come to Easton Field for a 7 p.m. contest.Â
