ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's basketball team fell 79-48 at Lebanon Valley Saturday afternoon. The Knights were led by senior
Addy Crenny with 17 points and 7 rebounds, Hillary Yoh led the Dutchmen with 15 points. The Scarlet and Grey fall to 9-14 and 4-10 in the MAC Commonwealth, while Lebanon Valley moves 16-7 and 10-4 in conference play.
The Knights shot well to open the contest including an eight point run that covered nearly four minutes and resulted in a 10-7 lead following an
Imani Alston layup at the 4:31 mark of the first quarter. That would be the peak for Arcadia as the hosts responded with a 25-5 run beginning with a Lexie Lantz layup with 3:46 to go in the opening quarter and ending with an Alyssa Cirucci layup with 6:37 to go in the second quarter for a 32-15 Dutchmen lead.
Arcadia finished the game shooting 31% from the floor with just one three on eight attempts, while the hosts converted 53.4% of its field goal attempts. Turnovers did the Knights in as Lebanon Valley outscored the Scarlet and Grey 30-8 off turnovers, while showing off its depth as the hosts got 49 points from its bench with Arcadia getting just 11 from its subs.
Arcadia plays its final home game of the season on Tuesday when it hosts Widener at 6 p.m.
