Alex Estrella led the way for the Knights with two goals, while classmate
Veronica Garcia registered a goal and an assist.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Freshman
Veronica Garcia opened the scoring in the 17th minute when she scored with a shot to the left post. Junior
Jackie Glanfield put the ball in the back of the net for the first time this season in the 29th minute. Just under two minutes later, Estrella scored her first of the game on a cross from Garcia; she scored her second goal in the 39th minute off a cross from sophomore
Ghil Joseph. The Knights weren't done there as Haberbosch scored twice and freshman
Karlie Flowers scored once in the second half.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Arcadia dominated the game with 24 total shots, 15 of which ended up on target. The Nittany Lions fired two shots, with one going on goal. The hosts were not awarded any corner kicks, while the Knights took 14.
IN GOAL: Freshman
Taelor Rivera made one save in her eighth win of the season. Samantha Friend (3-4) took the loss while making eight saves.
