GLENSIDE , Pa. – The Arcadia University men's basketball team dropped an 83-82 decision to Lebanon Valley Wednesday night at Alumni Gymnasium. The Knights now sit at 8-7 overall with a 3-3 MAC Commonwealth record, the Dutchmen hold a 10-6 overall record and are 4-3 in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED: After a pair of free throws from sophomore
Josh Scott tied the game at 69 with 5:41 to go, the visitors used the next 4:13 to go on a 10-2 run to open an eight point lead with 1:28 left on the clock. The Knights clawed their way back over the final 1:28, going 3-4 from the floor, including 3-3 from distance, along with converting a pair of free throws to pull within a single point. Sophomore

Ryan Kelley drained threes 14 seconds apart to pull Arcadia to within an 83-82 deficit with 0.6 seconds on the clock. Freshman
Emmanuel Anderson-Marrow was able to get a hand on the inbounds pass following Kelley's three, but was unable to gain control to get a shot off before the buzzer.
ARCADIA LEADERS: The Knights were led by sophomore
Evan Slone's 20 points on 9-11 shooting from the floor. He was joined in double figures by junior
Brandon Thompson with 17 and Kelley with 15. Sophomore
Kyle Reilly led the way off the glass with six rebounds, while Scott registered a team-leading five assists.
LEBANON VALLEY LEADERS: Travis Conrad scored a game-high 27 points on 8-8 shooting from the field, including 7-7 from distance, and 4-4 from the free throw line. Sam Light contributed 25 points, with Andy Orr scoring 18 points to go along with a game-high nine rebounds.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Knights shot 49.1% (27-55) from the floor, including 12-20 (60%) from beyond the arc, while converting 16-24 (66.7%) from the free throw line. The Dutchmen went 25-45 (55.6%) from the field, including 14-19 (73.7%) from distance, while converting 19-27 (70.4%) from the charity stripe. Arcadia controlled the paint by a 28-18 margin, while outscoring the opposition 14-11 off turnovers, 7-0 on fast breaks and 13-8 off the pine.
