GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University field hockey fell to top-ranked Messiah Saturday afternoon by a score of 3-0. The Scarlet and Grey stood strong in the early portion of the first half, before the visitors opened the scoring late in the first half. 
 
FOR THE RECORD:

• The Knights sit at 8-7 on the year and 1-3 in MAC Commonwealth play
• The Falcons are 13-0, including a 4-0 conference mark.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Messiah opened the scoring in the 20^th minute, before adding two goals in the second half.
• Freshman Maya Stern matched a season-high with 11 saves.
• Sophomore Adera Ahern, junior Kayla Brennan and senior Liz Stierle all recorded defensive saves

 
STILL TO COME:

• The Knights return to action Wednesday afternoon at Albright.
• Three of Arcadia's final four games will be against conference opponents.
