Box Score GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team dropped a MAC Commonwealth contest to 10th-ranked Messiah College Thursday evening at Jean Lenox West Field, falling by a final count of 16-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The two teams traded scoring chances in the opening 10 minutes, which saw Stephanie Athens break the scoreless deadlock seven minutes into the game. It remained 1-0 until Shayla Delaney's first goal midway through the first half and Messiah's offense heated up from there as the Falcons took a 10-0 lead at the intermission and never looked back. Allie Colson led Messiah with four goals and one assist, while Athens and Delaney finished with two goals each.

Veandra Selby had an outstanding performance in goal despite taking the loss, totaling 13 saves in her 45 minutes played. Senior
Liz Stierle had two saves over the last 15 minutes. Alexa Dipeso had two saves while earning the decision in goal for Messiah.
