FOR THE RECORD: Albright improved to 9-6 overall and 5-2 in conference play with the win. The Knights fell to 6-7 overall and1-5 in league play with the loss.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Lions scored the first three goals in the game in a span of three minutes, but the Knights battled back by scoring three of the next four goals to pull within one, 4-3. Arcadia appeared the draw even at 4-4, but the goal was disallowed and Devon Mela scored shortly after to start another three-goal run for Albright that extended its lead to 7-3.
Junior
Nicole Hutson scored with 1:25 left in the first half to cut the deficit to 7-4 at the break, and freshman
Shannon Ryan scored four and a half minutes into the second half to pull Arcadia within two at 7-5. Mariah Cullen scored off the ensuing draw, starting a 7-1 scoring run to close the game for the Lions.
IN GOAL: Hayley Joyce totaled 11 saves while earning the win in goal for Albright. Freshman
Veandra Selby took the loss in goal for Arcadia after totaling five saves and allowing 10 goals in her38 minutes played, while junior
Liz Stierle allowed four goals and had two saves in the final 22 minutes.
ARCADIA LEADERS: Ryan had a hand in four of the Knights' six goals, finishing with two goals and two assists while grabbing a game-high five draw controls. Junior

Victoria Mollitor had one goal each. Hutson additionally caused three turnovers and picked up three ground balls.
ALBRIGHT LEADERS: Kelly Baumann and Mela each had four goals and two ground balls for the Lions. Mela added an assist and four draw controls, while Baumann had one draw controls and caused two turnovers. Cullen finished with two goals, two assists and three draw controls.
