EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's soccer team traveled to Wilkes Saturday afternoon, falling 1-0 to the Colonels.
FOR THE RECORD: The Knights sit at 5-4 on the year, while Wilkes moved to 5-1-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Scarlet and Grey came out in typical Arcadia fashion, putting the game's first shot on target 2:26 in; they would also take two corner kicks before the hosts got a shot. However, the second half is where the offense would really pick up with 15 combined shots, 10 of which came off the feet of the Knights.

Brianna Williams had the answer to Wilkes' first shot of the frame before senior
Jess Kelly nearly got the Knights on the board with a header in the 61

Mia Bertolami putting the game's next shot on frame. Wilkes managed just a single shot after its goal, while Arcadia took four.
IN GOAL: Williams (5-4) denied three shots in the loss, while Courtney Stanley made four saves for Wilkes.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Shots (15-9) and corners (9-5) both went in favor of the Knights, though shots on goal were even at four apiece. Arcadia was whistled for 13 fouls, while the Colonels were called for eight.
