Men’s Volleyball Slips at Lancaster Bible

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Arcadia men's volleyball team hit the road Wednesday night, falling 3-0 at Lancaster Bible, 13-25, 20-25, 18-25
FOR THE RECORD:
  • The Knights now own a 2-2 record.
  • The Chargers moved to 5-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The hosts set the tone early in the first set with 11 of the first 15 points en route to a 25-13 win.
  • The second set was tightly contested. The largest lead was three through the first half of the set, before the Chargers pulled away.
  • The final set began similar to the second before a 6-1 run gave the hosts an edge. Arcadia battled back, cutting the deficit from six to three before Lancaster Bible sealed the win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
  • Freshman Quinn Baily led the Knights with six kills. Sophomores Robie Moctezuma and Jason Manley each recorded five.
  • Freshman Anthony Devantier handed out 20 assists.
  • Arcadia totaled 31 points on 23 kills, four aces and four blocks.
  • The Chargers scored 47 points on 33 kills, nine aces and five blocks.
UP NEXT:
  • The Scarlet and Grey head to Virginia next weekend to take on Southern Virginia Friday night (1/26) and Eastern Mennonite Saturday night (1/27).
