WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- The Arcadia women's soccer team poured in a season-high eight goals, four of them from
Jules Oswald, in an 8-2 win at Lycoming on Saturday afternoon.

Oswald added an assist for good measure and four other players found the back of the net for the Knights, who improved to 11-3-2 overall and 6-0-0 in the MAC Commonwealth. The Warriors fell to 1-15 overall and 0-6 in league play.

Six total goals were scored in a fast-paced first half as AU took a 4-2 lead into recess. Oswald got the scoring started at the 7:00 mark, heading a corner off the foot of
Stephanie Maggio past Helen Ross for a 1-0 lead. Oswald set up
Veronica Pontis with a pass across the box to make it 2-0 not even five minutes later, and the Arcadia lead swelled to 3-0 when Oswald got on the end of a free kick from
Morgan Giordano in the 24th minute.

Kyleigh Balint scored for Lycoming in the 36th minute to break up the shutout, but Gabby Rhodes answered in the 39th for a 4-1 lead. The Warriors made it 4-2 just before halftime, but four second-half goals, including goals a pair from Oswald less than a minute apart, ensured the Knights' win.

IN GOAL:
Brianna Williams started in goal and played the first 28:13 before giving way to
Gabby Green. Williams began the second half in goal and played into the 72nd minute before Green came on again. Williams finished with one save and did not allow a goal, while Green made two saves and allowed two goals. Ross played 88:44 and made 12 saves while allowing all eight goals. Bekki Weller mopped up the final 1:16 in net.
