HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Arcadia men's tennis team took on Thomas Thursday afternoon, falling 7-2. Sophomore Drake Hanak was part of both points for the Scarlet and Grey, picking up wins in both doubles and singles.
 
FOR THE RECORD:

• The Knights are now 3-3 on the year.
• Thomas moved to 1-2.

WINNERS:

• Hanak teamed with junior John Zinzer for an 8-2 win over Ross Munn and Jared Waterhouse at second doubles.
• At No. 2 singles, Hanak bested Munn 6-2, 6-4.

CLOSE CALLS:

• In the first singles match, sophomore Nick Simeone took the first set 6-3, before falling in a tiebreak.
• In the third singles flight, Zinzer battled with Waterhouse but fell 7-5, 7-5.
• Junior Alex Post forced a tiebreak at No. 5 singles by winning the second set.

• The Knights return home for its next match, March 24, against DeSales. First serve is slated for 10 a.m.
