FREDERICK, Md. – The Arcadia men's tennis team topped Hood Saturday, 8-1. The Knights swept doubles play, before taking first, second, third, fifth and sixth singles.
 
FOR THE RECORD:

• The Scarlet and Grey improve to 6-5 on the year, and remain unbeaten at 3-0 in the conference.
• The Blazers dip to 1-8 overall and 1-3 in the MAC Commonwealth.

WINNERS:

• Sophomore Nick Simeone and junior Jaime Zeng Zhu teamed up for an 8-5 win over Alex Sexton and Michael Brady at No. 1 doubles.
• Junior Keith Rader partnered with sophomore Drake Hanak to blank Jordan Hahn and Ben DeLeo 8-0.
• Juniors John Zinzer and Alex Post combined to beat Andrew Heon and Alex Beaumont 8-5 in the third flight.
• At first singles, Simeone downed Sexton 7-5, 4-6, 6-4.
• Rader picked up the win in the second singles flight, 6-4, 2-6, 7-5.
• Hanak defeated Hahn 6-0, 6-2 at third singles.
• Zinzer topped Heon 7-5, 6-4 at No. 5 singles.
• Post claimed a 6-2, 6-2 win over Beaumont at No. 6 singles.

CLOSE CALL:

• Zeng Zhu was edged in three sets by DeLeo 6-4, 6-7 (1-7), 6-10
