HAVERFORD, Pa. -- Arcadia's women's volleyball team picked up a pair of wins to begin its 2018 campaign with a 3-2 win over Bethany followed by a 3-0 victory over Bard at the Haverford Invitational.

Arcadia 3, Bethany 2 (25-12, 22-25, 23-25, 25-17, 15-11)
Lauren Enfield pounded out 22 kills and hit .452 in leading the Knights to their first victory of the season. The reigning MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year added 14 digs.
Katie Wilson chipped in 11 kills and six total blocks, and
Shannon Ryan added eight kills.

Emly Eng paced the defense with 31 digs, and was one of four players with 10 or more.
Julia Paliwodzinski (14), and
Allison Elechko (11) also reach double figures in digs. Paliwodzinski also had a team-high 48 assists.

Arcadia 3, Bard 0 (25-6, 25-16, 25-17)
After its tight season-opening win over Bethany, the Knights cruised a sweep of Bard behind a balanced offensive attack.
Lizzie Joseph had a team-best seven kills as 10 different players recorded kills. Paliwodzinski handed out 20 assists, and
Mackenzie Hale registered a team-best seven digs.

As a team, the Knights hit .313 compared to just .029 for the Raptors.

Arcadia will wrap up play in the Haverford Invitational on Sunday beginning at 10 a.m. vs. Wheaton (Mass.).
