GLENSIDE, Pa. -- Behind a pair of goals from
Carly Flickinger, the Arcadia field hockey team posted a resounding 4-0 win over 14th-ranked Kean on Wednesday evening at Jean Lenox West Field and Delran Pavillion.

The win over the nationally-ranked Cougars (0-3) is the Knights' (2-1) second win against Kean all-time.

Flickinger put the Knights up 1-0 at the 24:23 mark following a pass from
Gabby Sedares. The Knights' 1-0 lead held through the break until Lauren Daugherty scored on a penalty stroke just over four minutes into the second half for a 2-0 advantage.

Two goals in 22 seconds midway through the second half sealed the Knight victory.
Isabelle Houser scored off a feed from Flickinger at the 54:22 mark, and Flickinger capped the scoring with her second goal, once again following a pass from Sedares, with 56:44 on the clock.

IN GOAL:
Catherine Bergmueller picked up her second win of the season, playing all 70:00 in goal and making a pair of saves. Megan Houser took the loss for the Cougars, making six saves and allowing four goals.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Knights held a commanding 17-7 edge in shots, including 10-2 in shots on goal … The 17 shots marked a new season high for Arcadia, while the two shots on goal are the fewest that the Knights have allowed in three games … Flickinger and Sedares accounted for 12 of the 17 AU shots on the evening … Kean, which entered the season ranked 14th after going 21-3 a season ago and advancing to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament.
