GRANTHAM, PA. -- The Arcadia men's basketball team rallied from a five-point, halftime deficit to pick up its 10th consecutive win, 67-65, over Messiah on Saturday afternoon.

The Knights remain unbeaten in the MAC Commonwealth at 7-0 and are 13-2 overall. Messiah is now 7-9 overall and 3-4 in the league.

The Knights faced a five-point deficit (35-30) at the break, but used a 12-6 run to open the second half and take a 42-41 lead with just over 14 minutes to play on a three pointer from
Da'Kquan Davis. The Falcons scored the next four points to regain the lead 45-42 and AU would play from behind for much of the second half.

Trailing 62-58 with under five minutes to play,
Phil Pierfy converted a three-point play to pull the Scarlet & Grey within a point at 62-61, and Davis followed with another three at the 2:59 mark to put the Knights up for good at 64-62.

Josh Darville missed a chance to tie the game for Messiah when he split a pair of free throws with 2:26 left, and
Evan Slone made 1 of 2 for the Knights with 41 seconds left to make it 65-63.
Kyle Reilly knocked down a pair of free throws with six seconds left for a 67-63 contest and the Falcons added an inconsequential layup as time expired.

Pierfy led the Knights with 17 points and added seven rebounds. Reilly finished with 14 points off the bench, Davis added 13 points and five assists, Slone scored nine points, pulled down eight rebounds and blocked four shots, while
Josh Scott finished with five points, five rebound and five assists.

As a team, the Knights outrebounded the Falcons 38-36 and shot 41.4 percent (26-63) from the floor, including 10 for 29 (.345) from beyond the arc.

Josh Darville led the Falcons with 15 points and nine rebounds before fouling out. Colin Sareyka added 13 points and seven assists.

Arcadia is at Widener on Wednesday beginning at 6Â p.m.
