GLENSIDE, Pa. -- The No. 12 Arcadia men's volleyball posted a pair of 3-0 wins in wrapping up a perfect weekend at the Knight Classic. The Knights ran their record to 8-3 on the season with 3-0 wins over Randolph-Macon and Eastern Mennonite on Sunday.

Arcadia 3, Randolph-Macon 0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-16)
The Knights needed less than an hour to dispatch the Yellow Jackets, playing in their first season. Arcadia hit .361 as a team and pounded out 10 service aces while limiting R-MC to a -.018 hitting percentage. The Yellow Jackets committed 15 attack errors against just 14 kills.

Evan Misal led the Knights with seven kills and added a pair of service aces and three digs.
Edwin Waters Jr. and
Austin Braas each had six kills, while Braas hit .857, the second time he hit over .800 over the weekend.
Anthony Devantier and
Alvyn Abraham rackedup 19 and 12 assists, respectively, and
Angelo Giuffrida picked up four digs.

A 4-0 run, followed shortly by a 5-0 run in the first set gave AU a 10-2 lead and the Knights never looked back in taking a 1-0 lead. In the second set, the Scarlet & Grey held a slim 7-6 lead before a 9-0 run with Braas at the service line staked the Knights to a 16-6 advantage. Misal and

In the third set, the Knights once again held a slim lead, 6-5, before using a 7-0 burst to take a 13-5 lead and cruise to the win.

Arcadia 3, Eastern Mennonite 0 (25-11, 25-10, 25-16)
The Knights once again made quick work of their opponent to close out the day, hitting over .300 as a team (.328) and holding the Royals to -.172 as a team. Arcadia's defense limited the Royals to 10 kills against 21 attack errors with seven total blocks.

Braas had seven kills and hit .667, while Manley added six kills and hit .545.
Dan Paraskevov posted four kills and five digs, while
Quinn Baily added six digs to go with his four kills.

Leading 19-11 in the first set, the Knights closed on a 6-0 run, including three service aces from Devantier, to take a 1-0 lead in the match. In the second set, it was a 10-2 run that turned a 7-4 lead into a 17-6 advantage. The third set started much the same way, as AU raced out to a 5-0 lead and once again held a 17-6 cushion before the Royals chipped away, albeit slightly, down the stretch.

At the conclusion of play, Braas, Manley and Devantier were all named to the All-Tournament Team as the Knights were the only team to go a perfect 4-0.
