FREDERICKSBURG, Md. - The Arcadia University men's swimming team opened its 2019-20 campaign with a resounding dual meet victory at Hood Saturday afternoon, 171-87.
TJ Dalton led the Knights with three event wins, taking the 100-yd backstroke, 500-yd freestyle and 200-yd individual medley.

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
-The Knights opened the meet with a victory in the 200-yd medley relay with
Janis Kirsis,
TJ Dalton,
Tristan Highet and
Mark Preedy put together a time of 1:40.26.
-Kirses followed up that performance with a win in the 1,000-yd freestyle, touching the wall six seconds ahead of the competition with a time of 10:40.33.
-Dalton produced a win in the 100-yd backstroke with a 57.48.
-
Kevin Foley was first to the wall in the 100-yd breaststroke at 1:03.82.
-Highet dominated the 200-yd butterfly, getting back to the wall at 2:12.57.
-Preedy won a tight race in the 50-yd freestyle with a time of 22.52.

Zach Bondurant took first in the 200-yd backstroke (2:09.93).
-Dalton again was first to the wall in both the 500-yd free (5:04.31) and the 200-yd individual medley (2:00.26).
