DOVER, De. - Taylor Dunn had a career-high 32 points and six three pointers as the Arcadia University women's basketball team defeated Wesley College, 59-38, to improve to 4-3 overall.
Julia Makowski finished second on the squad with 16 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Arcadia got off to a hot start with the first nine points of the contest. Dunn opened the game with a three-pointer, scoring seven of the team's nine points during its opening run. Wesley responded with six unanswered points, but were silenced by five-straight points from Dunn. The Knights ended the opening quarter with a 20-8 advantage.
- Wesley outscored the Knights 17-7 in the second quarter to pull within two points heading into intermission. The Wolverines opened the second stanza on a 9-0 run to make it a one-possession game, 20-17. Wesley eventually tied the game for the first time with 1:55 remaining in the half.
- The Wolverines opened the second half with a bucket to tie the game, 27-27. Arcadia then answered with buckets from Makowski, Dunn and
Holly Daveski to regain its lead, 33-27. Dunn ended the half with back-to-back three-pointers to pull ahead by nine points.
- The Knights finished the game strong, outscoring Wesley 17-5 in the final quarter. Arcadia opened the quarter on a 15-0 run, which lasted just over five minutes. Dunn had nine of the Knights points during their 15-point rally.

- Arcadia outscored Wesley 18-7 on points off turnovers.
