FREDERICK, Md. – The Arcadia men's basketball team fell to Hood, 91-81 on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Knights end the regular season with a 20-5 record and 14-2 mark in league play. The Knights, who are the No. 1 seed in the MAC Commonwealth Championships, will host the winner of No. 4 seed Stevenson and No. 5 seed Albright matchup on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
 
Josh Scott paced the Knights with 19 points, five rebounds and five assists. Da'Kquan Davis scored 18 points, grabbed three boards and handed out five assists. Phil Pierfy also scored in double figures with 12 points and grabbed three boards, and Evan Slone and Kyle Reilly scored eight points each.
 
Leading by one (43-42) to begin the second half, the Knights and Blazers traded the first four baskets of the second half. After Hood hit a three to take a 47-45 lead, Evan Slone hit a jumper to even the score at 47-47 with 17:39 remaining.
 
After Hood took a seven-point lead (56-49), the Knights scored 10 of the next 13 points, to even the score at 59-59 with 11:49 remaining, a stretch which was capped by a three-point play from Steve Pendleton. Still tied (61-61) with 11:05 on the clock, the Blazers pulled ahead, scoring nine of the next 11 points, to take a 70-63 lead with lead with 8:08 left in the second half.
 
After the Knights' deficit was stretched to 13 (81-68) with 5:15 remaining, Arcadia tried to get back in the game, scoring six-straight points, which was capped by two Pierfy free throws, to make the score 81-74 with 3:40 left. However, the Knights would be unable to complete the comeback, falling to the Blazers.
 
The Knights shot 28-61 (.459) from the field in the contest, while the Blazers went 29-56 (.518) from the floor. Arcadia pulled down 27 boards, while the Blazers grabbed 36.
