Hilton Head, S.C. – The Arcadia women's tennis team fell to Marian University-Indianapolis by a score of 9-0 Wednesday night in Hilton Head, S.C. With the defeat, the Scarlet and Grey's record sits at 5-7 on the season.

Marian picked up wins in No. 2 and No. 3 doubles with relative ease, both by scores of 8-0. At No. 1, the tandem of Julia Paraboschi and Tess Weber pushed their opponents to the brink, but ultimately fell by a score of 9-7, putting Marian up 3-0.

In singles action, Marian kept the pressure on, winning all six matches in straight sets. Casey Boldt, Paraboschi and Alex Volkov each took three games off their opponent in the first set, but ultimately couldn't keep pace.

Arcadia gets a day off before facing Agnes Scott College on Friday in its last match of Spring Break before heading back north to Glenside. First serve is set for 8:30 a.m.
