WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- The Arcadia women's lacrosse team fell at Lycoming 21-12 on Saturday afternoon.

Julia Imbert scored a career-high six goals for the Knights (1-11, 1-4 MAC Commonwealth) and
Nicole Kress added three goals and one assist to pace the AU offense. The Warriors (3-11, 1-5) got 12 points (7g/5a) from Hailey Kimble and 11 (9g/2a) from Kelly McGinniss to hold off Arcadia.

The Knights got a pair of goals from Imbert as well as one from Kress and another from
Jess Kaye to take a 4-3 lead with just under 10 minutes gone the first half. The Warriors answered with four straight to regain the lead 7-4 with 11:03 left in the first half.

Michaela Ferlow and Imbert each scored for the Knights as AU crept to within 8-6 before LC scored two more to close out the half and take a 10-6 into the break. Kress scored twice and Ferlow once in the early going of the second half as the Knights halved their deficit to 11-9 with 21:29 to play, but the Warriors roared back with eight unanswered to take an 18-9 lead with 12:06 to play and essentially clinch the contest.

Arcadia actually outshot the Warriors, 40-38, but the duo of Jordyn Altland and Bailey Parchesky combined to make 18 saves on the day. AU's
Veandra Selby made nine saves in the cage. The Knights committed just seven turnovers to the Warriors' 13, and Lycoming came away with 22 draw controls to 13 for AU.

Imbert led the Knights with five draw controls and Kaye added four.
Kirsten Pedicone had three caused turnovers.

Arcadia is back on the field on Wednesday when it plays at Widener beginning at 7 p.m.
