GLENSIDE, Pa. - Four days after setting a career-high with 37 points Saturday against DeSales,
Da'Kquan Davis led the Arcadia University men's basketball team past visiting Scranton with a new career-high 43 points - part of his third double-double of the season with a game-high 12 rebounds - as the Knights moved to above .500 on the season. Davis' 43 points mark the second-most in the MAC Commonwealth this season, one point shy of the season's current top mark.
Steve Pendleton and
Kishan Patel also finished the night in double-figure scoring with 14 and 11 points, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights and Royals stayed within three points of each other over the first five minutes of the contest, before a 9-0 run capped off by Patel and Pendleton threes gave the Knights a commanding eight-point lead at the 13:24 mark of the first half.
-Arcadia would lead by as many as 12 in the opening half, as Davis netted 23 of his 43 points in the first half alone, staking the Knights to a 12-point, 44-32 lead at the half.
-The Knights opened the second half on an 8-0 run to extend their lead to an even 20 behind a Pendleton three and two points each from Patel and Davis. Scranton was able to cut the deficit to eight at the 13:13 mark of the second half, but Arcadia put the game away with a 13-2 run to extend its lead to a game-high 22 as Davis scored 11 of the 13 points over that stretch.

-The Knights got off to a fast start Wednesday night, shooting 51.7 percent (15-29) from the field in the first half, while holding Scranton to 1-for-13 from beyond the arc. The Royals finished the night just 4-for-20 (20%) from three.
-Arcadia shot an even 50 percent off (11-22) from three and 17-for-20 (85%) from the free throw line.
-Scranton held the edge on the boards, 39-36.
