WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Arcadia University. men's tennis team concluded its fall schedule Sunday at the King's College Invitational as inclement weather forced a rain-shortened event.
Jonathan Noble and
Luke Thatcher both reached the semifinals of their respective singles ladders to lead the Knights on the weekend.
DOUBLES RESULTS

Jonathan Noble and
Josh Noble made quick work of Lycoming in an 8-3 quarterfinal victory at first doubles. The Nobles then bowed out to a strong duo from Manhattanville in the semifinals, 3-8.

Luke Thatcher and
Francis Tamesis came up just short at second doubles in a 6-8 loss to Penn College.

Matthew Nagy and
Ryan Salmon were narrowly defeated at third doubles, falling to King's in a tiebreak, 7-8 (5).

David Cassel and
Cody Jellison were defeated at fourth doubles, 0-8.
SINGLES RESULTS

Jonathan Noble advanced to the semifinals of the first singles draw following a dominant 6-2, 6-2 win over Misericordia. Noble went on to win the first set against FDU-Florham before rain brought the match to a halt.

Josh Noble was defeated by Penn College in the opener of the second singles ladder, 3-6, 6-7 (5).

Francis Tamesis fell to Susquehanna in the third singles draw, 2-6, 0-6.
-Matt Nagy dropped the opening match of the fourth singles ladder to Scranton, 3-6, 3-6.

Luke Thatcher advanced out of the first round at fifth singles with a 6-3, 6-2 win over King's before falling in the semifinals FDU-Florham, 0-6, 2-6.

David Cassel bowed out fo the sixth singles draw in the opening round in a 0-6, 1-6 loss to Susquehanna.
-The Knights had a pair of entries in the seventh singles draw.
Ryan Salmon was defeated by Susquehanna, 1-6, 1-6 while
Cody Jellison fell to Scranton, 0-6, 0-6.
