Women's Ice Hockey Falls to SUNY Cortland Saturday

CORLTAND, N.Y. - The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team concluded its two-game series at SUNY Cortland Saturday afternoon, falling to the host Red Dragons, 7-0. Hannah Bergeron made a game-high 28 saves in goal for the Knights in the effort.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Cortland netted the game's first goal just under four minutes into play before adding two more in the final minutes of the first period to jump out to a 3-0 lead. Sophia Szelag made 17 saves in a busy opening period in net for the Knights.

-The Red Dragons went on to tally three more scores in the second period to pad their lead despite 13 Hannah Bergeron saves. Bergeron logged 15 saves in the third period to total a game-high 28 on the day. All five of the Knights' third period shots were met with saves while Cortland netted a power play goal to come away with the 7-0 win.
