GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's basketball program posted its second-consecutive win to start this season in the team's home-opener Thursday night, besting Delaware Valley, 57-45.
Julia Makowski powered the Knight offense with a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds, both marking game-highs.
Scarlett Glasser-Nehls contributed 15 points and was near-perfect from the line (9-for-10) in her Alumni Gymnasium debut, while
Taylor Fritz also went for double figures with ten points of her own.
HOW IT HAPPENED

-Arcadia came out of the half with the same offensive rhythm, stretching its lead out to double figures on the strength of five different scorers as
Maria Tully pitched in her first points of the night.
-The Knights put the game away in a hurry in the fourth and final frame as a 12-3 run in the opening stages of the quarter resulted in a game-high 13-point lead. Makowski continued to connect from beyond the arc while
Sidney Barrer pitched in the final three points of the game to cap off the 12-point victory.Â
