GLENSIDE, Pa. - Jared Chambliss and
DJ Gardner each posted a career-high 20 points to lead the Arcadia men's basketball team to its third-straight win to conclude the regular season, defeating Widener, 87-78. Chambliss was a perfect 7-for-7 from the field - including 4-for-4 from beyond the arc - while Gardner was 6-for-7 from three to lead the Knight offense to its best shooting performance of the season, finishing the night 54.1 percent (33-61) from the field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-With the two sides tied at 12 just under five minutes into the game, the Knights ripped off a 20-0 run to take control and never looked back as Gardner hit four-consecutive threes in a two-minute span. Chambliss later followed with a pair of threes of his own on back-to-back possessions to extend the Knight lead to 26 - the largest of the opening half.
-After starting the second half with a 23-point advantage, Chambliss and Gardner sparked a 13-2 run to extend the Arcadia lead to a game-high 32 with nine minutes remaining in regulation. The Pride battled through the large deficit to cut it down to 11 in the closing minutes, but the Arcadia defense held strong to wrap up the non-conference victory, 87-78, to conclude the regular season on a three-game win streak.
