GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team dropped its home-opener to visiting Stevenson Saturday afternoon at Jean Lenox West Field, 18-3. Maddie Ruger led the Knights with two goals while Sarah Morris added a goal and a team-high four draw controls in the effort.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Mustangs got out to a strong start offensively while limiting the Knights' offensive chances in the first half. Emily Griffith made five saves in goal in what turned out to be a heavy workload in the opening half.

-Arcadia was first on the board in the second half as Ruger found the back of the net for her first of two scores on the afternoon. Morris followed suit just over four minutes later as the Knights began to find a rhythm offensively. 

-The Stevenson offense ultimately proved to be too much in the end as the Knights dropped their home-opener, 18-3.
