DALLAS, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's lacrosse program fell in its regular season finale Sunday at Misericordia, as the Knights now look ahead to the start of the MAC Freedom Tournament Tuesday as the seventh seed.
Sylar Acker led the Knights with two goals in the effort, while
Hannah McAllister and
Mackenzie Hoffman netted one each.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Cougars opened the game with seven-straight goals to take an early advantage over the Knights before Acker's unassisted tally at the 22:51 mark cut into the deficit. Acker went on to score her second of two goals at the halfway point of the first half, but Misericordia took a 14-2 lead into halftime.
-McAllister started the second-half scoring for the Knights with an unassisted goal five minutes in, but Misericordia was able to maintain its lead through the end of regulation.
Mackenzie Hoffman scored her fifth goal of the season in the final minutes to cap the day for the Knights.
