Box Score LANGHORNE, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's tennis program opened the 2021 fall season Wednesday afternoon at Cairn and defeated the host Highlanders 5-4 thanks to four singles victories to cap off the night.
Jonathan Noble,
Matthew Nagy,
Luke Thatcher, and
David Cassel all provided singles victories in the effort for the Knights.
The singles matches were played in an eight-game pro set format.

DOUBLES RESULTS

Jonathan Noble and
Luke Thatcher fell in a tiebreaker at first doubles, 7-8 (6).

Francis Tamesis and
Matthew Nagy provided the lone doubles win at second, point 8-1.
-
David Cassel and
Ryan Salmon were dropped at third doubles, 5-8.
SINGLES RESULTS
-Noble defeated his counterpart at first singles in dominant fashion, 8-1.
-Tamesis fell at second singles, 5-8.
-Nagy won his first collegiate match at third singles convincingly, 8-1.
-Thatcher was also victorious at fourth singles, 8-3.
-Cassel rallied for an 8-6 victory at fifth singles.
-Salmon fell in his sixth singles matchup, 1-8.
