GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University field hockey team shutout Wilkes University, 8-0, in the Knights' MAC Freedom opener on Saturday afternoon at Jean Lenox West Field.
Junior forward Regan Sammons scored a career-high four goals in the victory. She also tallied an assist for a nine-point afternoon. Four other Knights found the back of the net.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Arcadia started out strong recording five shots before the halfway mark of the first quarter. The Knights score their first goal of the day just over seven minutes into the opening frame as Caeley Letersky found the back of the net. With two seconds left in the opening quarter, Sammons scored her first of the day to give the Knights a 2-0 lead after the first quarter.
