HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's soccer team defeated Albright College, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon in the second game of the Haverford College Kick Off Classic.
Graduate Student Kira Bochard netted a hat trick for the Knights. The Burbank, Calif. Native was very efficient as she scored three goals on four shots on goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Arcadia did not waste any time getting going offensively as the Knights had nine shots in the first 12 minutes of action. Three minutes later, Bochard scored her first of the day. Amanda Thaler made a perfect pass right into the path of Bochard, who dribbled it into the box and finished past the Albright goalkeeper.

Thaler scored the second goal for Arcadia in the 26th minute. She dribbled past the goalkeeper and finished in the empty net.

Albright would grow into the game after conceding a second goal, but the teams would go into halftime with Arcadia leading 2-0.

Bochard scored her second goal off a header from a corner kick in the 53rd minute. She would complete her hat trick five minutes later as she cleaned up a loose ball in front of the net to give the Knights a 4-0 lead. Albright added its goal with nine minutes remaining in the game, to cut the Arcadia advantage to 4-1.

The Knights return to action for its home opener as they welcome Ursinus College to Glenside on Thursday, Sept. 9. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
