GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's basketball mounted a strong second half comeback, but it just fell short in a 74-63 loss to DeSales on Saturday afternoon inside Alumni Gymnasium.
After being down by as much as 15, the Knights came back to take a one-point lead in the second half, but DeSales closed out the game on an 18-7 run to win the game.
Jalen Watkins scored 17 points to pace the Knights on the offensive side of the ball. He also grabbed 13 rebounds to record his seventh double-double of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The teams played an even start to the game. With the Bulldogs leading by five, they went on a 12-2 run to open up a 30-15 lead. DeSales would hold onto that advantage, leading 34-20 at the end of the first half.

DeSales continued its momentum at the beginning of the second half, taking a 15-point lead. After that point, Arcadia outscored Desales, 33-17 to take a one-point lead with just under six minutes left to play. The Bulldogs then closed the game on an 18-7 run to win the game.
