Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Women's Basketball Topped By DeSales

GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's basketball team fell to DeSales, 85-51 on Saturday afternoon inside Alumni Gymnasium.  

Scarlett Glasser-Nehls led the Knights offensively with 14 points and Kylie Meredith chipped in 10 for Arcadia.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • The Bulldogs scored 18 of the first 20 points of the game. Arcadia went on a 5-1 run at the end of the quarter to get within 19-7 at the end of the opening frame.  

  • DeSales opened the second quarter on a 10-1 run to extend its lead. The Bulldogs carried their momentum through the quarter, taking a 39-22 lead into halftime.  

  • The Bulldogs took a 52-24 lead in the third quarter due to a 13-2 run. DeSales led 58-38 at the end of three quarters of play. 

  • DeSales continued to hang onto its lead in the fourth quarter, sealing its 85-51 victory.
