WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team dropped a tightly contested game to Wilkes, 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.  

The Knights applied offensive pressure all game long as they registered 52 shots on goal, but they could not get a shot past Wilkes goaltender Ally Joly.  

Hannah Bergeron made 20 saves for the Knights in goal, and had a save percentage of .952.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• The only goal of the game was scored in the first period as the Colonels scored an even strength goal to take a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.  

• The Knights outshot Wilkes 19-10 in the second period and 14-5 in the third period but could not find the back of the net.
