GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University women's swim team fell 151-111 in its home opener to Misericordia University in a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) meet at Lenox Pool on Saturday afternoon.

Claire Hamilton recorded a first place finish and a season best time of 2:06.54 in the 200-yard freestyle, trimming two seconds off of her time in the event from a week ago.

Olivia Hyde swam to a season best in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:24.41, a two second decrease from last week.

Grace Brooks was impressive in her first action of the season, touching the wall first in the 200-yard backstroke event (2:17.27).

Mikayla Scardino won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.90 in her first collegiate action.

Emily Raedisch reduced her time in the 100-yard butterfly by three-tenths of a second, taking second with a time of 1:03.42.

Natalie Link claimed second place in the 1000-yard freestyle at 11:51.54.
