Manhattanville Tops Women's Ice Hockey in Overtime

RYE, N.Y. - The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team fell to Manhattanville, 1-0, in overtime on Saturday afternoon in United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) action.  

The Knights record falls to 0-4-2 overall and in conference play. 

Sophia Szelag made 33 saves, including 13 in the third period to send the game to overtime.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • The teams played a scoreless 60 minutes to send the game to overtime.  

  • Manhattanville scored the game-winner just over a minute into the extra period to win the game.
