WEST SENECA, N.Y. – The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team completed the weekend sweep over Hilbert, defeating the Hawks, 9-0, on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Knights improved to 2-5-2 with the victory.
 
Five different Knights recorded a multi-point game, led by Ariel Williamson who had two goals and two assists. Karahkwenhawe White found the back of the net twice and added an assist, Brooklyn Hendrickson had two goals and both Leah Hatcher and Abbi Komrofske had a goal and an assist.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Knights converted on the power play just over five minutes into the game as Williamson scored her first goal of the day. Hatcher tallied the assist on the score. The Knights held onto their 1-0 lead going into the first intermission.
• The Knights exploded for five goals in the second period as White, Hendrickson (2), Komrofske, and Hatcher all found the back of the net. Williamson (2), Mairead O'Connell and Komrofske all recorded assists on the goals.
• Williamson, Haylee Kos and White scored in the third period to extend Arcadia's lead to 9-0. Kos' goal was the first of her career. White also picked up an assist in the frame.
