GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University women's basketball team fell by a 48-43 final to Delaware Valley University in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) action inside Alumni Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
Mara Weaver finished with a team-high 11 points while
Scarlett Glasser-Nehls added 10 and
Delaney Bell contributed seven.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Delaware Valley began the game on a 6-2 run before Arcadia went on a 5-0 streak to take a 7-6 lead with 6:42 left in the first quarter.
-The Aggies finished the quarter outscoring the Knights 14-8 as Arcadia trailed 20-15 after ten minutes.
-The Knights outpaced Delaware Valley 9-8 in the second quarter, facing a 28-24 deficit heading into halftime.
-Arcadia held a 9-5 advantage in the third to tie the score at 33 heading into the final quarter.
-The Aggies used a 15-10 fourth quarter to secure their victory.
