WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's basketball team fell by a 63-36 final at Lycoming College in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) action on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Knights are now 7-8 in conference play and 7-15 overall.
 
Scarlett Glasser-Nehls got Arcadia on the board with a three-pointer to make the score 3-2 with 5:47 left in the first quarter. The Warriors completed the first ten minutes on a 13-4 run, leading 15-7 heading into the second quarter.
 
Lycoming increased its lead to 22-9 after starting the second on a 7-2 run with 7:50 remaining until halftime as the Knights entered the break trailing 36-20.
 
Arcadia was unable to close the gap in the second half as the Warriors took the victory.
 
Julia Makowski led the way for the Knights, finishing with 11 points and eight rebounds as the only player in double-figures. Sidney Barrer totaled a game-high 10 rebounds for Arcadia.
 
Allison Butler led Lycoming with 14 points, six rebounds, and five steals. Emily Lockard rounded out the double-digit scores with 10 points and nine rebounds.
 
The Knights return to the court for their regular-season finale when they host King's College for a MAC Freedom contest at 1:00 p.m. Prior to the game, Arcadia will honor its seniors playing in their final regular-season home contest.
