COLMAR, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team completed the weekend sweep over Lebanon Valley, 3-1, on Saturday afternoon at Hatfield Ice Arena.
For the second straight game, the Knights had a two-goal scorer as Berklee Hibbard found the back of the net twice in the victory. The goals were her seventh and eighth of the season.
Karahkwenhawe White tallied an assist in the game, extending her point streak to four games.
Goaltender Hannah Bergeron got the start for the Knights. She made 27 saves as she picked up her second victory of the season. Over the two games, the first-year goalie made 55 saves and only gave up two goals in the Knights' weekend sweep.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Flying Dutchmen opened the scoring as they took a 1-0 lead just under 10 minutes into the first period. 31 seconds later, Hibbard tied the game at one with her first goal of the game. Campbell Torrey tallied the lone assist on the goal. The score was tied at one after the first period.

Hibbard gave the Knights the lead just under six minutes into the second period as she converted on the power play. White and Bridgit Terry tallied the assists on the goal. Arcadia led 2-1 going into the final intermission.

Bella Gershtein sealed the victory for the Knights with an empty net goal with 22 seconds remaining in the game. It was the first goal of her career.
