Men's Basketball to Host Misericordia Wednesday in MAC Freedom Quarterfinals
GLENSIDE – The Arcadia University men's basketball team is set to open its run in the 2022 Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Tournament on Wednesday evening, welcoming Misericordia University to Alumni Gymnasium in a 7:00 p.m. quarterfinal matchup.

Visiting Students and Children: $2
Children under 6: Free
No passes will be accepted for the conference tournament. All Arcadia University community members with a KnightCard will receive free entry to the contest.

Arcadia heads to the MAC Freedom tournament as the No. 3 seed after concluding its conference slate with an 11-5 record in league games, defeating King's College 81-54 on Saturday. The Knights won both games against the Cougars this season, winning 77-61 in Dallas on January 5
th, and completing the season sweep at home on February 5
th by a 90-75 final score.
Jalen Watkins leads the way for Arcadia, averaging a double-double with 13.5 points-per-game (ppg) and 11.0 rebounds-per-game (rpg). The junior set a season-high on February 2
nd at Delaware Valley with 25 points, and pulled down 23 rebounds on November 20
th against Cabrini.
Samuel Majekodunmi is averaging 11.7 ppg, 4.1 rpg, and 3.6 assists-per-game (apg) while
Justin Money holds season averages of 11.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg, and 2.6 apg.
Misericordia, the No. 6 seed with a conference record of 7-9, is coming off an 89-75 win over FDU-Florham to close out the regular season.
Elijah Rosenthal leads the Cougars averaging 12.3 points and 3.7 rebounds. Kevin Lazdowsky averages 12.2 points and 6.2 rebounds while Nate Kreitzer is at 11.2 ppg and 3.3 rpg.
The winner will advance to the MAC Freedom semifinals on Friday, with the two highest remaining seeds to host at a time to-be-determined.
